WATCH: MIT Building Gets Turned Into Giant Tetris Game

Hackers at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology brought Soviet-styled 80's fun to the Boston skyline, when they turned the facade of the school's Green Building into a cascade of colored blocks gamers immediately recognize as Tetris, the Boston Globe reports.

PC World writes that although details are scarce, the stunt appears to have been pulled off with the use of LED lights.

The building is home to MIT's Earth, Atmospheric and Planetary Sciences Department. The school said it had nothing to do with the latest in a series of campus hacks. A website runs down MIT's other techno-pranks.

Students tried a similar stunt at Brown University a decade ago.
