Looking to upgrade your living situation for summer?
Saturday marks the start of Realtor.com's annual Nationwide Open House Weekend, an initiative that boasts of over 31,000 open house events across the country over the course of two days. The listings cross country have a $14.3 billion total listing price for properties that come equipped with a total of 78,693 bathrooms, 15,711 fireplaces and 3,736 pools.
Here in Chicago, we've pulled 12 of the city's highest-profile properties that are opening up their doors as a part of the nationwide open house promotion. The properties even include a HuffPost Chicago favorite: the East Lincoln Park home you may recognize from the 1993 Harrison Ford thriller "The Fugitive." Since we featured the property last summer, the home's listing price has been lowered about $250,000 to a mere $3.699 million.
