Vanessa Williams To Kimmel: 'I Know How To Make People Cry'

Vanessa Williams opened up on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" (Weeknights, 12 a.m. ET on ABC) about the last days of "Desperate Housewives."

Williams revealed that on the final day of filming she made the show’s producer, Marc Cherry cry. How? She sang "Send In The Clowns."

She said that Cherry's "a huge Stephen Sondheim freak," and that "he lost it" when he heard her sing the torch song. Host Jimmy Kimmel asked if that meant Cherry cried, to which Williams joked, "I know how to make people cry."

The two-hour series finale of "Desperate Housewives" airs Sunday May 13, 9-11 p.m. ET on ABC. "Jimmy Kimmel Live" airs weeknights at 12 a.m. ET on ABC.
