Invoking Duerson

During an episode of PTI on Wednesday afternoon, Mike Wilbon connected Seau's apparent suicide to the suicide of former Bears player Dave Duerson:

My second thought -- and I'm sorry if some people think this is a leap but this is my second thought -- it goes to Dave Duerson taking his own life. Dave Duerson, the former Chicago Bear, who suspected he was suffering from the head trauma that leads to CTE and that was later shown through examination of his body after his death to actually have happened. Junior Seau, Tony, you have to be suspicious that he thought the same thing. Junior Seau [has] been involved in a lot of things, from "Man Of The Year" in the NFL in the 1990s, early 1990s, to some very bizarre, uncharacteristic behavior later in his life that led him and others to think, "What is going on here."

No Concussions?

@ AdamSchefter :

It doesn't mean he didn't have any, but the late, great Junior Seau never was listed on an NFL Injury report as having a concussion.
