Jon Stewart Mocks Osama Bin Laden's Letters (VIDEO)

WATCH: Jon Stewart Mocks Bin Laden's Letters

With this week marking the one-year anniversary of Osama bin Laden's death, the government released previously-unseen documents that were recovered inside bin Laden's home during the raid.

The cache of thousands of documents, which CNN referred to as a "treasure trove," contains correspondences between the leader and his contacts where he talks about everything from assassination aspirations to the "bin Laden brand."

It seems the terrorist was concerned that his personal image had gotten off-cause, and he felt that he needed something really great in order to remind people what he was all about.

On Thursday night's "Daily Show," Jon Stewart picked up on the absurdity of trying to re-brand your terrorist organization, and decided to have a little fun with it.

Stewart joked:

Fifteen thousand documents? This guy wasn't a terrorist, he was a hoarder. We didn't even have to kill this guy. It's just a matter of time until we find out he died alone, surrounded by 29 cats and two decades' worth of JC Penney catalogs... You know, other organizations have faced this. You've just got to change with the times... Or you could stop with the killing. However you want to do it.
