New to the Farmers Field site is a "fly-through" video of of the proposed football stadium and convention center in downtown LA.
The short film, which debuted at the design and technology convention at the current convention center Tuesday, showcases renderings of a new convention hall, the stadium, a green space for markets and outdoor events and parking structures, all nestled around the existing LA Live. The most impressive features are the inclusion of what could be LA's largest ballroom, as well as a dedicated space for a 15,000-person tailgate.
Right now, it's all wishful thinking, but Blogdowntown notes that if AEG has city approvals in place by the end of this summer, Farmers Field can be expected to open in the Fall of 2017.
