In the world of gaming, evil is often alluring. The bad guys have the hordes of minions, the huge explosions, the trove of stolen eggs.
But in director Peter Chung's new trailer for the highly anticipated action-roleplaying video game "Diablo III," the good guys look -- and act -- especially awesome. In Chung's "unique vision of ... the battle between the High Heavens and the Burning Hells," limbs are hewn and blood is spilled.

The veteran animator, known for crafting the iconic 90s cult classic series "Aeon Flux," lent his talent to the teaser for the fantasy horror-themed video game, infusing the heroes with a sense of moral ambiguity that's characteristic of his work.
Not surprisingly, the six-minute movie, appropriately called "Wrath," garnered more than 950,000 views after being posted to YouTube May 8.
Animation studio Titmouse produced the film. That company is best known for its work on the video game series "Guitar Hero," and has also made television shows like "Metalocalypse" and "Afro Samurai."
Blizzard Entertainment will release "Diablo III" on May 15 in North America and Europe.
