Stephon Williams Barehanded Save: Waterloo Black Hawks Goalie Makes Amazing Play In USHL Playoffs (VIDEO)

WATCH: Goalie Makes Amazing Bare-Handed Save

Stick, blocker and glove.

These are a goaltender's tools of the trade. But Waterloo Black Hawks goalie Stephon Williams managed to keep his cool after losing one of his implements last Monday in a playoff game against the Lincoln Stars.

Stick, blocker, glove and bare hand.

These are, apparently, the tools that Williams has at his disposal. Williams accidentally dropped his glove before going one on one with an opponent who fired a wrist shot from just a few feet away. Keeping with the play, he managed to bat the puck aside, completely bare-handed, making the save and sending the crowd into a frenzy.

The Waterloo Black Hawks were able to clinch the series and reached the 2012 United States Hockey League Clark Cup Final.

Even better, there was no injury reported on Williams' hand.
