Adopt A Puppy: San Francisco Based Copper's Dream Seeks To Save Bay Area Pups (PHOTOS)

PHOTOS: Seriously Cute Adoptable Puppies

Just in time for Memorial Day weekend and the start of summer, here's a bunch of puppies you should take home with you so you can frolic around Golden Gate Park with them in the San Francisco sun.

This week, HuffPost SF's pet adoption series features the most photogenic pups we've ever seen, courtesy of Copper's Dream.

Named for the childhood dog of the owner, Copper's Dream is an all-breed dog rescue organization based in San Francisco that pulls from shelters all over California. Their mission includes not only placing dogs in good homes but ending the euthanasia of adoptable dogs and cats in the United States.

If you want to meet the dogs in person, Copper's Dream will host an adoption event this Saturday, May 19, at the Whole Foods in Palo Alto. The event will take place from 1-4 p.m., and the dogs are ready to go home that day.

All the puppies featured are spayed/neutered, and Copper's Dream requires that all new dog owners attend a training class with their new pet to ensure that you develop a healthy, happy and long-term relationship.

If you can't take one of these adorable dogs home with you, consider sponsoring the pup of your choice to ensure that they receive the care they deserve until they find permanent homes. You can also temporarily foster one of these dogs in your home.
