One Direction's Harry Styles Dispels Punch Rumor

'I Didn't Punch Anyone!'

With all of One Direction's achievements -- a No. 1 album, the coveted chance to perform on "Saturday Night Live" and the unbridled adoration of young females on both sides of the pond-- come the inevitable pitfalls of fame. The beloved British boy band's recent woes have included legal troubles over their name, a Chlamydia scare involving a Koala and pesky rumors started by haters on Twitter.

Just this week, one of said haters claimed that member Harry Styles punched a paparazzo in the face following the band's appearance at the "Men in Black 3" premiere in New York. But Styles tells J-14 that the rumors are simply not true. "I definitely didn't punch anyone!" he assured the magazine.

The 18-year-old heartthrob offered high praise for the flick. "It was a good film," was his succinct assessment. He also tweeted:

And just to clear up any confusion regarding a similar story, "Men in Black" star Will Smith did not deny slapping the reporter who attempted to kiss him last week while he was promoting the movie in Moscow.

"It was just awkward, Dave," Smith told David Letterman of the incident. "They were like, 'Oh, no, we’re sorry, you know. It’s just his 'schtick,' you know. And I said, 'well, that’s why his a** got schtuck.'"
