Lindsay Lohan's SNL Performance Blamed On Prescription Drugs By Dad

The Lohan family drama just couldn't get more dysfunctional - now, Lindsay Lohan's estranged father is claiming that she was on prescription drugs during her recent appearance on "Saturday Night Live," reports CelebrityVIPLounge.com.

Her lackluster performance raised some eyebrows, especially in light of her well-reported substance abuse problems -- when she was sentenced in 2010 in connection with a probation violation from twin DUI cases, her probation officer's report listed five prescription drugs from Zoloft to Adderall that she was allowed to take, reported TMZ.com.

“I have to say this… on SNL, Lindsay was not using any illicit drugs or drinking but she still is on prescription drugs that they gave her," Michael Lohan told the site. "And the meds that they give her are meds that they say she needs, but she doesn’t need them. But they kind of make her flat. She’s not acting at a full potential. It’s like the screen is down over her.”

Though some critics panned her SNL appearance, Lohan has bounced back in recent weeks, in a guest appearance on "Glee" and getting ready for her role as Elizabeth Taylor in Lifetime's upcoming "Liz and Dick" movie.

A spokesperson for Lohan declined comment on her father's claims.

In other Lohan news, the actress is being sued over her fake tan by a Vegas tanning company that claims she never paid her bill of $41,000 for tanning sessions between 2007 and 2009, reports TMZ.com.
