'Thor 2': Zachary Levi Eyed For Fandral, Josh Dallas Out Of Film

'Thor 2' Cast Shake-Up

The Warriors Three will look a little different in "Thor 2." According to EW, "Once Upon a Time" star Josh Dallas will not reprise the role of Fandral and Zachary Levi might get the part.

"I'm bummed about it because I had such a great experience and great time making the first film and was really excited about coming back," Dallas told EW. Dallas said Marvel and Disney tried to make the scheduling work, but in the end it wasn't do-able. "I will certainly be first in line to see it," he said.

The shooting of the Marvel sequel doesn't align with his "Once Upon a Time" schedule. The ABC drama ended its first season with the characters of Storybrooke regaining their fairy tale memories. More on the new season here.

In place of Dallas in "Thor 2," The Hollywood Reporter has "Chuck" star Zachary Levi in the running. According to THR, Levi's talks are still preliminary and negotiations have yet to begin. He was up for the part when casting for the first film began, but had scheduling conflicts with NBC's "Chuck."

Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Idris Elba and Anthony Hopkins will return for "Thor 2" Mads Mikkelsen, who recently joined the cast of NBC's "Hannibal," is in negotiations to play a villain.
