Daredevil Thieves Start To Rob Moving Truck in Romania, Then Decide Against It

A gang of Romanian thieves has taken multitasking to an all-time high. The group is shown starting to rob a moving truck as they both power down a highway in a video taken by Romania's Department for Organized Crime and Terrorism (DIICOT).

In the video, the thieves' car follows closely behind the truck as two members of the group inch out of their car's roof. One leans forward and cuts the lock as his legs dangle from his partner's grip. But even more puzzling than the gang's choice of burglary venues is that once he cracks the truck's doors open, he seems to decide against carrying out the rest of the process, shuts the door and crawls back into the car.

The DIICOT has been building evidence against the gang and say its members have robbed a number of moving trucks between the months of March and May, according to the Telegraph.

Police say the group steals televisions, coffee and cigarettes from the trucks with the intent of selling it on the Obor market in Bucharest, according to the article.
