LeBron James Hands Game-Used Headband To Fan After Game 3 Win Over Thunder (VIDEO)

WATCH: Fan Wears LeBron's Sweaty, Game-Used Headband

Sweaty is the head that wears the crown, especially when the crown is actually a headband -- perhaps even the so-called "double headband" -- that is saturated with the perspiration of King James.

LeBron James put on another amazing performance in Game 3 of the NBA Finals on Sunday night, finishing with 29 points and 14 rebounds to propel Miami to a 91-85 victory. Following the final buzzer, James tossed his game-worn headband to a female fan in the stands while making his way to the locker room.

With James having played 44 minutes the headband had also put in a solid night of work -- and not just covering up a receding hair line. Nevertheless, the fan gleefully slipped the band over her head and snapped it across her brow as if it were her own. It's always exciting to receive a piece of game-worn memorabilia, but when its sole purpose is to absorb sweat like a sponge, perhaps it's best left in one's pocket.

Of course, this act, however unsanitary, hardly qualifies as one of the craziest things we've seen from NBA fans this season.
