Is there anything cuter than a languid puppy in a state of pure relaxation? We think not. We had to share these drawings with you, made by the gifted illustrator Bruce Padgett.
Padgett, a Mississippi-born, New York-based artist, is a former professional dancer. He retired from ballet in 1995, but continued to channel its expression, beauty and line through his artwork. On his website he writes that he "immersed himself in the art of painting" since his departure from dance and now focuses on oil painting. However, we especially enjoy his ink on paper portraits of pups. Can't you just hear them begging for a belly rub?
