Madonna may sparked the wrath of many fans after flashing her boob during an Istanbul performance, but HuffPost Gay Voices Editor-at-Large Michelangelo Signorile is among those who is applauding the Material Girl for her stunt.
"I love what she did," Signorile told Joy Behar during an interview this week. "She has beautiful breasts, does it matter whether they're 30-year-old breasts or 50-year-old breasts? They're beautiful breasts, why not show them?"
Echoing Signorile's sentiments was Howard Bragman, vice chairman of Reputation.com. "You go to a Madonna concert, you want a moment that you can talk about," Bragman, who noted that he studied at the University of Michigan with a pre-fame Madonna during the star's brief stint in the dance department there. "You want that water-cooler moment with your friends.”
Though Behar disagreed with both Singorile and Bragman, her consensus seems to be shared by a number of media personalities. "This is desperately seeking attention," noted Wendy Williams. "Why would you feel [the need] to expose your boobs on your world tour?"
A longtime foe of the Queen of Pop, Piers Morgan slammed the flash as "the most embarrassing, cringe-worthy, desperate moment in the history of music" on Twitter.
