'The Mindy Project' Casts Amanda Setton, Stephen Tobolowsky And Ike Barinholtz And More Casting News

Three New Characters Join 'The Mindy Project'

A few new faces are headed to "The Mindy Project."

According to EW, "Gossip Girl" alum Amanda Setton will play Mindy's office manager Shauna Dicanio. Described as "Jersey-born and tenacious," her character makes a hobby out of collecting unpaid patient bills. "Glee" actor Stephen Tobolowsky will join "The Mindy Project" as a series regular in the role of Dr. Marc Shulman, the head of Mindy's practice.

Meanwhile, MADtv's Ike Barinholtz has landed a recurring role on the series as a male nurse at Mindy's practice who also happens to be an ex-con.

"The Mindy Project," also starring Mindy Kaling, Anna Camp and Chris Messina, centers on a Bridget Jones-esque physician (Kaling) struggling to find love in the midst of a crazy professional life. "The Mindy Project" is set to debut this fall on Fox.

In other casting news...

Michael Weatherly, Sean Murray and Pauley Perrette are headed back to NCIS. The actors, who play Tony DiNozzo, Timothy McGee and Abby Sciuto, are headed back to the CBS drama series for Season 10. [TVLine]

Diedrich Bader wants more of "The Exes." The actor will return to the TVLand series as Paul, an attorney who Holly (Kristen Johnston) has a crush on. [TV Guide]

Devon Sawa has been promoted to a series regular on "Nikita." Sawa is set to permanently appear as the kind-hearted Owen Elliot on The CW spy thriller. [TVLine]
