Batman Shooting 911 Calls Are Chilling (VIDEO, AUDIO)

LISTEN: Frantic Calls Made By First Responders Of Colorado Movie Massacre

The recordings from the first responders on the scene of the Colorado movie massacre have been released. You can hear the frantic calls by police asking for gas masks, reporting the deaths of patrons, and the apprehension of the suspect.

Aurora Police Chief Dan Oates, in a briefing on Friday afternoon, said that 71 people had been shot in total and 12 had been killed during the shootings at an area movie theater early Friday morning. Two of the victims died at area hospitals, while 10 were killed at the scene of the crime. Click here for live updates.

The suspected gunman, identified as James Holmes, a 24-year-old doctoral student in neuroscience who was about to drop out of the University of Colorado-Denver, was arrested, without major incident behind the theater shortly after the rampage stopped.
