On Thursday morning, 26-year-old Lena Dunham hit HBO series "Girls" was nominated for five Emmy Awards.
After finding out she had been nominated for Outstanding Comedy, Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy, Outstanding Writing For A Comedy and Outstanding Directing For A Comedy (the show was also nominated in the casting category), Dunham quickly connected with her excited "Girls" co-stars.
"I saw Allison Williams on set and we hugged like crazy people," Dunham told EW. "Adam Driver called me this morning and said, 'Dunham, good job.' And I told him I loved him, which I do. Jemima texted me and said 'Congratulations, dufus.'"
Amidst all the Emmy craziness, Dunham is in the middle of filming Season 2 of "Girls." The show's upcoming sophomore season will undoubtedly bring a series of awkward sex scenes and strange hipster parties in Brooklyn, plus a new roommate for Hannah: Elijah (Andrew Rannells), her gay ex-boyfriend, is moving in.
"It is a little 'Odd Couple," Rannells told Vulture. "Elijah cutes [the place] up ... Unfortunately, this does not translate to [Hannah's] wardrobe."
