'Project Runway': Heidi Klum Snaps At Guest Judge Lauren Graham

The tenth season of "Project Runway" (Thu., 9 p.m. ET on Lifetime) kicked things off with a big runway show in Times Square. On hand for the festivities was special guest judge and fan of the show, Lauren Graham. But the "Parenthood" star quickly learned that she may not have what it takes to judge the show.

When Graham was trying to defend one contestant, Beatrice, after her designs didn't quite work, she was cut short by Heidi Klum. Graham told Beatrice that maybe she should stick to knit-jersey, or follow in the steps of designers who make t-shirts and other comfortable clothing.

"But they also will not win on ‘Project Runway’ if they just make T-shirts," Klum told Graham.

And it turns out Beatrice wasn't going to win regardless. She wound up the first person cut from the show. Heidi Klum promised a season with challenges that will make people laugh and cry, as well as the drama of two contestants quitting the show, a move she told HuffPost TV was "childish."

The new season of "Project Runway" continues Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET on Lifetime.
