Although she was has had a successful music career and was Miss World USA in 1972, Lynda Carter is best known for playing Wonder Woman in both "The New Original Wonder Woman" and "The New Adventures Of Wonder Woman" in the 1970s.
Her famous patriotic ensemble is an iconic part of popular culture, so its no surprise that the actress has been trying to reinvent herself for the past few decades. Recent roles in "Super Troopers," "The Dukes of Hazzard" and "Sky High" along with a public condemnation of Sarah Palin in 2008 have helped distance Carter from her "Wonder Woman" image, but her bombshell brown hair, fit physique and glamorous style have made this difficult. In fact, Carter still very closely resembles her most memorable role, even though the series was made over 30 years ago.
