'Bachelorette' Wedding: Emily Maynard To Change Last Name To Holm

Newly-engaged "Bachelorette" Emily Maynard is planning to make a big change after she marries her chosen beau, Jef Holm.

The 26-year-old mother told Ryan Seacrest that she's "traditional" even though she's appeared on both "The Bachelor" and "The Bachelorette" -- and, because of that, she plans to take Holm's last name as her own after the pair wed.

Holm has been bonding with Maynard's 7-year-old daughter Ricki since the show ended, though neither Maynard or Holm have said whether or not Ricki's last name will change as well.

Maynard didn't go into detail as to whether or not she'll drop her maiden name entirely, or become Maynard-Holm. Hyphenation, if she goes that route, can be tricky in the long run, causing trouble on legal and medical forms, as well as confusion for kids.
