'Burn Notice': Michael And Fiona Go Undercover In Exchange For A Clue To Nate's Killer (VIDEO)

It looks like "Burn Notice" (Thu., 9 p.m. ET on USA) has found its formula for at least the next several episodes. When Michael finds out that the FBI has shut down their investigation into Nate's killing, he takes matters into his own hand. In doing so, he winds up agreeing to take on a case for one of Sam's guys in the FBI in exchange for Nate's file.

A little quid pro quo to move the bigger story along.

Viewers got another hint as to how Nate's death may have changed the stakes between the characters. He and Fiona go undercover -- complete with awkward Boston accents -- and there, Michael has fears about putting Fiona in harm's way. After losing his brother, he's afraid to see other people he cares about in dangerous situations.

"I know you feel responsible for what happened to Nate. You’re not," Fiona told Michael. "I’m gonna do this because it’s who I am, because who we are. And you can’t change that."

The investigation continues on "Burn Notice," Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET on USA.
