'The Real L Word' Cast Member Somer Bingham On How To Enjoy Dinah Shore Weekend

On this week's installment of "Somer Fridays," Somer Bingham of Showtime's " The Real L Word" offers fans her tips on how to prep for the Dinah Shore Weekend, the largest lesbian party in the world.

In order to get ready for what she eloquently describes as "15,000 lesbians descending upon one tiny, little oasis in the middle of the California desert," Somer says the one thing to keep in mind when getting ready to leave is that less, truly, is more.

Making the cut are bikinis, sunglasses, flip-flops, hangover medication and lube. On the other hand, Somer urges revelers to leave behind the sneakers, T-shirts ("Do you really want to have a farmer's tan??") and pajamas. "Just spoon for warmth," she quips.

Of course, a party isn't a party without the appropriate libations, so Somer offers one final tip: "Stay hydrated, and I'm not talking about water!"
