The Butcher & The Burger, Chicago Restaurant, Chosen As America's Manliest Burger Joint

Is This America's Manliest Burger?

Would you like a side of masculinity with that?

The Butcher & The Burger, a burger-centric Chicago restaurant, can now claim the title of one of America's manliest after emerging as a finalist in a contest sponsored by Men's Health magazine.

As Chicagoist notes, the Lincoln Park restaurant, located at 1021 W. Armitage Ave., is environmentally-conscious in addition to being "manly" as it relies on sustainable, local meat.

Another Chicago-area eatery -- Burt's Place -- also was recognized in the contest as the nation's manliest pizza parlor and is among the nine finalists who will duel it out for the crown -- er, tool belt? -- of America's manliest restaurant later this year, as the Zagat blog explains.

Do you think the Men's Health contest overlooked other worthy "manly" local restaurants?
