'White Collar': Neal Tears Up At Mozzie's Tragic Past

Mozzie has been a reliable sidekick to Neal over the years on "White Collar" (Tue., 9 p.m. ET on USA), but his past hasn't been significantly explored. Until now, that is. This week's episode delved into Mozzie's tragic past, as he revealed pieces of his childhood to Neal.

A young Mozzie apparently convinced himself that his parents were spies and away on missions, rather than face the facts that he'd been unwanted and abandoned by them.

That he told his fantasy story using puppets was both surreal and somehow even more tragic. It just emphasized the innocence of that young boy who'd been dumped on a doorstep.

Neal got emotional hearing the story, and felt closer to Mozzie as a result. Could this be the beginning of deeper stories involving Mozzie?

"White Collar" continues Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET on USA.
