Erin Fetherston may be known for sporting a sleek, sharp hairstyle, but with '60s style icon Brigitte Bardot as the muse for her Spring 2013 collection, the designer is finally pumping up the volume (on her models' hair, that is).

The Inspiration: Feminine, but with an edge; Brigitte Bardot vacationing in Saint-Tropez.
Hair: Inspired by Bardot's signature bombshell hairstyle, lead stylist Odile Gilbert for Kérastase Paris perfected vacation-esque hair complete with bangs, body and headbands. She prepped damped locks with Mousse Volumative and then blow dried through. Next, she used a large barrel curling iron to create loose waves. She roughed up the sweet 'do by using a zipper as a headband -- taking a piece of hair from the front and tucking the piece into the open zipper. A blast of Double Force Hair Spray set the style in place and Elixir Ultime Rose Milleanaire added shine to the ends.

Nails: Because the models were following the "no jewelry" trend (minus the darling pictured above), Fetherston wanted the nails to substitute as an accessory for the hands. Butter London global colour ambassador Katie Hughes painted on an eye-catching metallic shade called Lillibet's Jubilee (a silver color with a lilac finish).
