Foster The People's 'Houdini' Is Recreated Flawlessly With LEGOs (VIDEO)

The Coolest 3 Minutes Of Your Day (VIDEO)

In their song "Houdini," Foster the People repeats one lyric over and over: "Focus on your ability." 17-year-old Dylan Woodley took these words to heart. In what might just be the coolest three minutes of your day, Dylan, a student and animator from Canada, recreated the "Houdini" music video. Not only does Dylan recreate every camera angle, change in lighting, and facial expression… he also does it entirely with LEGOs.

Dylan (known on YouTube as NXTManiac94) explains on his website, "This started out as an individual project for my Grade 11 Interactive Media & Animation class, and quickly became the dominant occupant of my free time. I took several hundred hours to make this one, but man was it worth it. I hope you enjoy the video, and please share if you like it!"

The technical masterpiece has gathered more than 14,000 views since it was posted on Friday and hundreds of flattering comments, including, "My head exploded from all the awesomeness."

Some of our other favorite LEGO masterpieces include a stop-motion LEGO video reenacting the Fierce Five's Olympic win and a jaw-dropping set from Lord of the Rings using 50,000 pieces.

Were you impressed by Dylan's music video? Have you ever tried doing a stop-motion animation? Tell us in the comments below or tweet @HuffPostTeen!
