Criticism of Mitt Romney over his controversial remarks about the 47% continued to dominate the discussion on Wednesday's "Morning Joe."
The Romney campaign has been in crisis mode since video of his controversial remarks at a closed-door fundraiser surfaced Monday. Romney said that people who support President Obama do so because they are "dependent on government" and "believe that they are entitled to health care, to food, to housing."
Scarborough has been a vocal critic of Romney through the campaign. His antagonism about the candidate has only grown more fierce with Romney's recent missteps, including his response to the attack that killed four diplomats in Libya and this video.
"The big problem isn't that the liberal media is circling Mitt Romney, we expect that," Scarborough said Wednesday. "It's that conservatives are now circling around Mitt Romney... saying this is not working."
He was, of course, referring to blistering criticism of Romney from conservatives — including Peggy Noonan and Bill Kristol — after the video. Noonan denounced his campaign as "incompetent" and in need of "intervention" on Wednesday, while Kristol called his remarks "arrogant and stupid."
