Simon Helberg Does His Impression Of Robin Williams On 'Conan' (VIDEO)

Watch Simon Helberg's Robin Williams Impression On 'Conan'

If Robin Williams ever gets tired of performing -- never happen! -- it looks like Simon Helberg may just be ready to stand in for him. "The Big Bang Theory" star was on "Conan" promoting the new season of the hit comedy, but Conan O'Brien seemed more interested in seeing one of Helberg's "famous" impressions than he was in find out how Howard is going to enjoy married life with Bernadette.

Helberg decided to capture the manic wackiness of Robin Williams, and did a great job with the body language and Williams' signature spastic movements. He even had the frantic and rapid-fire delivery down well. He was clearly a student of Williams' work, as well, because even the words were some of Williams' more classic lines.

Helberg hasn't had much opportunity to do his impressions on "The Big Bang Theory," but after seeing some of these performances, it may be time to ask why not. While it's unclear how a dead-on Robin Williams impression would make sense now in Howard Wolowitz' world, it definitely should have been one of his go-to moves back when he was hitting on anything with a pulse and two X chromosomes.

Tune in for Simon Helberg and the season premiere of "The Big Bang Theory" on Thursday, September 27 at 8 p.m. ET on CBS. Catch new episodes of "Conan" each weeknight at 11 p.m. ET on TBS.
