While some Packers fans protested outside Lambeau Field on Tuesday after the replacement official controversy on "Monday Night Football" that resulted in a Seattle victory, the local news took a different approach and had a little fun with the situation.
Meet Replacement Weather Guy.
NBC 26 in Green Bay rolled out a replacement for their weatherman in an attempt to mock the NFL over its use of replacement referees. According to Replacement Weather Guy, there were minus-200 temperatures around 7 a.m. CT and warnings of a thunderblizzard hurricane at approximately 5 p.m.
It didn't take long for the real weatherman to come out and show the viewers "how it's done."
Hopefully, the regular refs will soon be on the field to show everyone watching how it's done.
