Last fall I purchased a pair of black leather motorcycle boots from Madewell. I've always worn tall equestrian-style boots in the chilly months and avoided biker boots for fear of my calf swimming in their wide sleeve (no galoshes for me, thank you very much). How thrilled was I, then, to find out that the Madewell boots were not only extremely comfortable (they are now a staple in my "wandering the neighborhood with my kids" uniform), but they also go perfectly with skinny jeans, slouchy boyfriend denim and even dresses and tights. The low heel gives a little height and is ideal for one of my favorite weekend activities: bike riding (the non-motorcycle type, that is). One year later, my leather boots are wonderfully broken-in and ready for another cold-weather season.
We wanted to spread the boot-wearing love, so we've found 10 pairs of women's motorcycle boots all for under $100. Your wallet (and your toes) will thank us.
