It was trouble in paradise all over the place on the season premiere of "The Big Bang Theory." All the guys were having trouble with their ladies, and poor Raj was feeling left out of it all. Perhaps that's why he managed to crash the dates of both Leonard and Sheldon in the same night. If Howard hadn't been in the space station, he'd have probably barged in on him and Bernadette as well.
Being in orbit didn't save Howard from lady troubles. Between his mother calling and screaming, and Bernadette upset that he hadn't told mom that he was moving out, he had plenty of wrinkles to try and smooth over. Meanwhile, Leonard wanted to talk about the proposal in bed, while Penny wanted to absolutely not talk about it. Raj intervened and almost got through to them, until he hit the wrinkle that Penny had never really said she loved Leonard. Rather than do so at his urging, Raj got thrown out.
This was after he'd been invited as a proxy by Sheldon to join him and Amy on their anniversary date. Understandably, this didn't go over well, nor did much of the date. But when Amy demanded one meaningful statement, Sheldon proved he did care ... by quoting the first "Spider-Man" movie.
The new season of "The Big Bang Theory" continues on Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.
