Gaetano Pesce's ‘Six Tables On Water' Collection Is Unbelievably Realistic (PHOTOS)

Gaetano Pesce’s ‘Six Tables On Water’ collection may be the most realistic pieces of artistic decor we’ve ever seen.

The Italian artist has created surfaces using liquid resin, polyurethane foam and PVC -- amongst other materials that give this furniture a look identical to bodies of water when viewing them from a bird’s-eye-view.

The tables are so realistic, it’s hard to believe you’re not really viewing an ocean, lagoon, river or lake. Especially since the designs include small islands or steps that appear within the waterscape, as they do in real-life.

According to Pesce, the exhibition, which will be displayed in London’s David Gill Galleries, reflects upon how humans are abusing water. “We don’t treat water with the respect it deserves,” said Pesce.
