Last night at the first presidential debate, America listened to President Obama and Governor Romney’s pitch on how each would approach health care in the next four years.
HuffPost Live hosted a debate to hear the voices of our third party candidates on this issue. Hosts Marc Lamont Hill and Alicia Menendez moderated the discussion with Andre Barnett, Reform Party candidate, Gary Johnson, Libertarian Party candidate, and Rocky Anderson, Justice Party candidate.
The first topic of the debate was the Affordable Care Act. Lamont Hill began the debate by asking each candidate if he’d repeal Obamacare.
"I would, because it's not affordable," Johnson said. "Let's go another step and repeal Medicaid Part D, which Republicans passed when they controlled both houses of Congress and the Presidency, and was at that time the largest entitlement we had at that point."
