'American Chopper': Senior And Junior Finish The Build And Go For A Ride (VIDEO)

With the build finally over on "American Chopper," what was the next chapter in the contentious relationship between Junior and Senior? Would it be too much to hope that they just ride off together, side by side, with a newfound love and respect for one another?

Apparently not.

As a special surprise for his father, to commemorate the completion of their latest bike build, Junior found the first bike they'd ever built together. He brought it back so the men could ride together, both on bikes their camaraderie and teamwork had created.

“I can’t remember the last time I enjoyed a ride as much as that one. It was nice being next to my father again kind of like how it all started," Junior said. "I really, honestly, have not wanted it to end. I have not enjoyed spending time with my father like this since I was a kid."

The season continues on "American Chopper," Mondays at 9 p.m. ET on Discovery.
