'Alice In Wonderland' Show On NBC: Developing 'Wonderland'

NBC Will Turn 'Alice & Wonderland' On Its Ear

Is the "Alice In Wonderland" theme getting old yet? NBC certainly doesn't think so.

According to Deadline.com, "CSI" creator Anthony Zuiker is developing "Wonderland" for NBC, based on Lewis Carrol's classic tale. The series will take place several years after Alice's adventures down the rabbit hole, making her the reigning queen of all wonderland. A new character named Clara will play the villain who attempts to take her down.

This isn't the first time "Alice" has gotten the small screen treatment. Lionsgate is reportedly developing an "Alice In Wonderland" series which centers on Alice's daughter, while The CW is working on the cop drama "Wunderland," in which Alice would play a detective. ABC's "Once Upon A Time" has also had its fair share of "Alice" storylines.

Do you think NBC can get away with another "Alice In Wonderland" series? Sound off in the comments.
