Justin Timberlake Wedding: Should Star Have Performed?

Should Justin Timberlake Have Performed At His Own Wedding?

Justin Timberlake looked very relaxed on the eve of his wedding sipping cocktails in southern Italy with fiancée Jessica Biel, former SNL cast member Andy Samberg and music manager Johnny Wright. But the question on everyone’s lips was not what the bride would be wearing but if the superstar would perform at his own wedding.

“He should absolutely not perform,” says Carrie Keagan, host of VH1's "Big Morning Buzz." A performance at a wedding "would be strange," Keagan says. "No singer should perform at their own wedding. It's tacky”

However, VH1’s Janell Snowden disagrees, saying the "Sexy Back" singer should definitely have taken microphone.

“I attended Usher's wedding, and he performed,” says Janell. “He was great, and it was very romantic.”

While the details on the Timberlake-Biel nuptials are still being revealed, we will find out shortly if Justin did choose to take the stage. But for those guests who were hoping to get to see him perform, it doesn’t look very likely.

“I really doubt it,” a friend of Justin’s tells me. “It’s just not his style. This day is all about his future with his beautiful new wife, not taking a trip down memory lane with a bunch of NSYNC songs.”

Plus, so far the only band member who has been spotted in Italy is Chris Kirkpatrick. Although with Andy Samberg in town, they could have recreated that romance classic, "D**k In A Box!"
