It's always tough for a fan of a visiting team to sit amid the local fans but it can get even rougher when the road side is embarrassing the home team on the field.
With the No. 2 Oregon romping at Arizona State on Thursday night, Sun Devils fans took issue with a Ducks supporter in their midst, taunting her with a "Honey Boo Boo" chant.
The woman was dressed in yellow and green appears to be with at least two other Oregon fans (although the guy with his face painted seems just as upset with her as the Sun Devils fans) in this video uploaded to YouTube but is the certainly the focal point of those around here. The ASU crowd can be heard teasing the interloper with a chorus of "Honey Boo Boo" and it looks that beer was even spilled on her. From this video, it is unclear what instigated the disturbance but the scoreboard, which eventually read 43-21 in favor of Oregon, may have been a contributing factor.
Though the Oregon fan resisted at first, yelling back and flashing her middle finger, she was ultimately convinced to leave -- a wise move considering the recent history of fan violence. Just last week, footage of massive brawl between 49ers and Giants fans broke out in the parking lot at Candlestick Park. Back in August, an Arizona fan shot an Oakland fan in the face outside the University of Phoenix Stadium during a preseason game between the Cardinals and the Raiders.
