Brian Williams is getting an unusual amount of access to President Obama in the waning days of the 2012 campaign.
NBC News announced Sunday that Williams will travel with Obama for two days across seven states on Tuesday and Wednesday, and will interview the president. Clips will air on all NBC News programs on Wednesday night and Thursday.
It's a notably heavy level of face-time with Obama, who typically gives shorter interviews to the press. But Williams has gotten big access to the commander-in-chief before -- notably for a special in the opening weeks of his presidency and for a look into the killing of Osama bin Laden.
