Week seven of the NFL season proved to be a thriller, with ten of the twelve games going into Monday ending with a score differential of a touchdown or less. The Saints were almost taken down by a last second throw to the end zone with the clock expiring by Tampa Bay’s Josh Freeman. The Jets and AFC East rival Patriots went to an overtime thriller that almost resulted in a Patriots upset. Finally, the mighty Giants stayed atop the NFC East with a win over the Redskins after a beautiful Eli Manning 77-yard touchdown pass in the final seconds to the salsa-dancing wide out Victor Cruz.
Just like the thrilling week of NFL games, it was another exciting week in the fantasy football landscape. Some players are improving their fantasy value by stepping up in the absence of injured or underperforming stars while others are making a comeback from their own injuries.
Here are seven players to pick up off of the waiver wire this week to improve your fantasy roster.
