Jon Stewart Blasts Mourdock Rape Comments, Romney's Continued Endorsement (VIDEO)

'Well, Now That I've Cleared Up I Don't Worship A Rape-Loving Deity'

What does a guy have to do to lose an endorsement these days? When Richard Mourdock said he believed that pregnancies resulting from rape were what God intended, there were precious few people on his side, not even conservatives.

But not being on someone's side and not not being on their side are two different things, apparently. Mourdock's comments may be enough to lose him the election, but they weren't enough to lose him Romney's endorsement.

Both Stephen Colbert and Tina Fey took shots at the GOP's sad legacy of unwanted rape dialogue this week, and Jon Stewart put in his two cents on Thursday's "Daily Show." Here's a hint: if you have to explain that your god doesn't love rape, maybe you've gone wrong somewhere.
