A second season of "Project Runway: All Stars" kicked off and brought with it a new host/judge in Carolyn Murphy. She was joined by returning judges Isaac Mizrahi and Georgina Chapman to help a batch of thirteen contestants who have competed on, but not won, the original "Project Runway."
Perhaps the most infamous returning face belonged to Wendy Pepper, who came in third during the first season. She was the first villain of the series, and it was evident that her fame preceded her. When it came time for the team captains of this first challenge to assemble their teams via schoolyard pick, Wendy was the last one chosen.
Nevertheless, after their first day of work, the team seemed ready to embrace her, offering a toast to her. "From one bitch to another, Wendy Pepper!" said Joshua McKinley.
"I was totally taken aback," Wendy admitted in a confessional. "Given that I have come here to completely mow all these people down, that was really very moving."
Anthony Ryan Auld won the first week of competition, while the bottom three was made up of Suede Baum, Peach Carr, and Andrae Gonzalo. Carr, who had finished in 11th place during her first run on the show, had to settle for 13th place this time around.
"Project Runway: All Stars 2" continues on Lifetime, Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET.
