Kristen Stewart appears to have reconciled with longtime beau Robert Pattinson in the aftermath of her dalliance with "Snow White and the Huntsman" director Rupert Sanders.
But forgiveness takes time, as both Stewart, 22, and Pattinson, 26, have evidently learned.
"There's still healing to do and trust issues," a source close to Stewart tells People in the magazine's latest issue, adding "but Kristen will do whatever it takes."
And while some fans, such as Donald Trump, have suggested that Pattinson move on, it's not so easy.
"He never stopped loving her," another insider tells People.
Stewart waxed philosophical about the complexities of love at a fan event for "Breaking Dawn - Part 2" in Tokyo this week, discussing her "Twilight" heroine's tangled relationships with vampire Edward and werewolf Jacob.
"As a woman, I think it's really important not to discredit feelings," she said, adding that she can relate to her character's feelings for more than one man. "There weren't too many difficulties with the whole love triangle thing. I mean, she needs Jacob in her life."
"If you can get past conventions and what everyone else is thinking, then you can have what you want," she continued. "[Bella, Edward and Jacob] get to a point where they get to have everything and that's nice."
