A Wayne County Circuit judge isn't expected to issue a ruling until early next year on a motion to dismiss charges against Detroit Officer Joseph Weekley, accused of fatally shooting a 7-year-old girl during a police raid in 2010.

The girl's grandmother said she is frustrated that the case is taking so long to prosecute.
