Hurricane Sandy Time-Lapse Of Lower Manhattan Shows Explosion, Blackout (VIDEO)

WATCH: Time-Lapse Shows Explosion, Blackout

The Hurricane Sandy time-lapse video has finally arrived. We watched an Irene time-lapse last year, but it's safe to say that this video, created by Silas Maniatis, is much... scarier.

Pay attention for the the dramatic Con Edison transformer explosion after the 50 second mark, and then watch Lower Manhattan-- and half of the Williamsburg Bridge-- go dark around the one minute mark.

The lights are still out in downtown Manhattan.
