Country's hottest night brought out the big guns as Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood and more got glitzed up to shine at the 46th annual Country Music Association Awards in Nashville on Thursday night.
Since we're not huuuuge country music fans, we can't weigh in on who we think got robbed and who rightly cleaned up. But! Fashion-wise, the pageantry brought out some fresh young faces, like "Pretty Little Liars" star Lucy Hale, who has a country album due out in 2013 (who knew?) and looked elegant in Moschino. "American Idol" alum Kellie Pickler complemented her newly shorn locks with an ice blue Pamella Roland gown, and "Nashville" star Hayden Panetierre looked casually gorg in a Georges Chakra minidress and green Giuseppe Zanotti stilettos.
Elsewhere, the usual suspects were up to their usual game: Taylor Swift, who sadly ended up awardless, opted for her standard red lipstick and sparkly Jenny Packham red and nude gown, and Carrie Underwood, on the arm of hubby Mike Fisher, went for a bold white and gold Reem Acra dress.
Our puzzlers of the night? Miranda Lambert, whose Maria Lucia Hohan gown didn't flatter her figure (or her posture), and Faith Hill, who defied the traditional glitter glam of the CMAs and sported a black Roland Mouret dress with puffy white sleeves. Love it? Leave it?
