Hurricane Sandy brought out the amateur weather reporter in many people. However, not many made a bigger impact than Ice-T’s wife, Nicole "Coco" Austin, who reported from the balcony of her home in Edgewater, N.J. If fact, Coco made such an impact that now VH1 is offering her a job as its weather girl.

"Coco put herself outside during the height of hurricane Sandy, to weather the storm so the rest of us didn't have to and looked darn good doing it," Carrie Keagan, VH1's "Big Morning Buzz" host, told The Huffington Post. "That kind of dedication and charisma is what our show is all about. I would love to have Coco join my team."

During Coco’s unusual homemade video report, she unfortunately wasn't able to capture much sound, but could be heard asking, "Can you see me?"

"We are big fans of Coco," Shane Farley, the executive producer of the show, told HuffPost. "After seeing her deliver a weather update during hurricane Sandy, we knew she would be the perfect person to report the weather on our show."

Coco has not yet responded, but the viewers have. Keagan said that when producers polled passersby in Times Square on whether they would rather see Al Roker or Coco deliver the weather, Coco won.
