John Green Wants To Help Undecided Voters

John Green, best-selling YA author of such books as The Fault in Our Stars and Looking for Alaska, wants to help undecided voters in swing states make up their minds for the 2012 presidential election (voting ends tomorrow evening at 9PM).

Green put out a call on Twitter today, asking if any of his followers lived in swing states and were still undecided about who they should vote for for president.

He then noted that if these people's minds were still able to be swayed, that they should contact him via email and even include their phone number if they wanted to. He would then try to persuade them to vote for a certain candidate.

Though Green didn't explicitly state that he would be persuading them to vote for President Obama, he also recently tweeted that people should "make calls for marriage quality RIGHT NOW." Mitt Romney does not currently stand in favor of gay marriage, so it's safe to assume that the candidate Green is most likely rooting for is Obama, who does. Green also has this adorable video on Youtube (with more to come) about the differences between Mitt Romney and President Obama's tax plans (he supports Obama's).

Regardless, we're eager to see what unfolds with this!

Planning on contacting Green? Let us know about it in the comments!
