Peter Gallagher On 'How I Met Your Mother' And More Casting News

Welcome to "How I Met Your Mother," bitch. Peter Gallagher's eyebrows are is heading to the CBS sitcom, TV Guide reports.

According to the website, "The O.C.'s" very own Sandy Cohen will guest star on as Ted's (Josh Radnor) former architecture professor at Wesleyan University who always gave Ted a tough time.

As of now, Gallagher's episode is scheduled to air December 17, according to TV Guide.

Since leaving Newport Beach behind, Gallagher has appeared on both small screen comedies and dramas, like "Californication," "Rescue Me," "Whitney" and "Covert Affairs."

In more casting news ...

Rory Gilmore's favorite frenemy is joining Emily Gilmore herself on "Bunheads." Liza Weil, who played Paris on "Gilmore Girls," will guest star on the ABC Family ballet drama alongside recurring actress Kelly Bilshop, who played the Gilmore matriarch on the former series. Weil will appear as Truly's (Stacey Oristano) sister Millty, with whom she has a strained relationship. [TVLine]

Rosie O'Donnell has booked a guest spot on "Bomb Girls." O'Donnell will make an appearance on the Canadian World War II drama, with details of her role still under wraps. [THR]

Daniel Buran is stopping by "Nashville." The "Criminal Minds" alum has booked a recurring role on the NBC series as Cy, the lead singer of a "Bon Jovi-like rock band." [THR]
